Clear Creek State Park in Pennsylvania
Clear Creek State Park covers 1,676 acres in the scenic Clear Creek Valley. Located just 11 miles from Cook Forest State Park, Clear Creek offers a unique outdoor experience. Hikers can explore the park on more than 15 miles of hiking trails. When in bloom, the beauty of the rhododendron and mountain laurel are unsurpassed. Many forms of wildlife inhabit the park including deer, black bear, turkey and grouse.
The Ox-shoe Historical Trail is a popular self-guided attraction affording a leisurely walk through the park. Scenic views of the area are available at Bear Town Rocks Trail. This trailhead is located near the entrance to Clear Creek State Park.
Opportunities abound for anglers in Clear Creek, where stocked and native brook trout can be found. Clear Creek, Callen Run and Clear Run are stocked with brook, rainbow and brown trout.
