The Tour-De-Forest is a an ATV leisure ride through the scenic Allegheny National Forest on designated forest roads and trails that are not usually open to ATV traffic. The Tour-De-Forest has a very low difficulty level and is good for riders of all ages and experience to enjoy. This event is put together for ATV enthusiast to have the opportunity to ride and experience different areas that are not normally open to ATVs. We hope you have an enjoyable time with us.
The Tour De Forest is always scheduled on the third weekend in May and the first weekend in October.

Adopt-a-Highway with Friends of Cook Forest @ Cook Forest State Park

Join the Friends of Cook Forest for their first Adopt-a-Highway litter pick-up, Saturday, October 19 at 8am. The Friends have adopted a 2 mile section of Forest Road and have committed to clean the area twice a year. PennDOT provides safety vests, trash bags & work gloves. Meet at the front of the Cook Forest State Park Office at 8am.

The Friends of Cook Forest is a chapter of the PA Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF). PPFF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions to PPFF are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
