ST.JOSEPH’S LIBERTY 5K RUN/WALK

St. Joseph Church, then ¼ mile.

• Nearly 2,000 dinners served each year. Dining Room serving 11 AM – 3 PM; Takeouts available 11 AM – 2 PM; Dinner ticket sales open at 10 AM.

The Duathlon consists of a 3.1 mile run then a 12-mile bike ride and ends with another 2 mile run. Many participate in this event as teams of 2 or 3, but this event can also be done solo. The 5k is 3.1-mile race on a mix of trails and paved roads in Cook Forest. These events are timed with the exception of the community walk. All who are pre-registered by June 26 will receive a free t-shirt. Free picnic lunch provided to all racers and spectators following the event.
Participants are encouraged to raise donations & bring along on race day to be entered to win prizes. Any participant raising over $75 will be eligible for top prizes which include gift cards and overnight getaways. Participants with highest amount of donations get first pick of all prizes. Registration and waiver forms will be available on our website and at the Brookville Y closer to race date. Checks payable to: Brookville YMCA. This event benefits Western PA CARES for Kids Child Advocacy Center.
We will be hosting many different vendors ( Lularoe, Thirty-One, Mary Kay, Posh, Pure Romance, Tupperware, and Jewelry by Wendy) all under one roof. This is free to the public , in addition there will be cookies and coffee. Bring a friend a get a gift.
