Brookville YMCA Western PA CARES for Kids 5K, Duathlon, and Community Walk @ Cook Forest State Park, Shelter 2

The Duathlon consists of a 3.1 mile run then a 12-mile bike ride and ends with another 2 mile run. Many participate in this event as teams of 2 or 3, but this event can also be done solo. The 5k is 3.1-mile race on a mix of trails and paved roads in Cook Forest. These events are timed with the exception of the community walk. All who are pre-registered by June 26 will receive a free t-shirt. Free picnic lunch provided to all racers and spectators following the event.

Participants are encouraged to raise donations & bring along on race day to be entered to win prizes. Any participant raising over $75 will be eligible for top prizes which include gift cards and overnight getaways. Participants with highest amount of donations get first pick of all prizes. Registration and waiver forms will be available on our website and at the Brookville Y closer to race date. Checks payable to: Brookville YMCA. This event benefits Western PA CARES for Kids Child Advocacy Center.
